Chemical name: 2-(methyoxycarbonylamino)-benzimidazole

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
Nearly white, odorless solid. M.p. 302-307 (decom.) Solubility, water, 8mg/l((pH7), acetone, 300mg/l, vapor pressure<0.09mpa(20). Density 1.40-1.50g/cm3. Hydrolysis (22), DT50>35d(pH7).
TOXICITY:
Tech (Rat): Oral LD50 >15,000 mg/kg (in sesame oil). Dermal LD50 >2000 mg/kg. Kemdazin (Rat): Oral LD50 > 10,0000 mg/kg. Dermal LD50 > 2000 mg/kg. Fish , LC50 4 mg/l (96 h) (carp); 2.3 mg/l (rainbow trout). Derosal, Bird, Oral LD50 0.01 mg/kg b.w. Bee, Nontoxic.
