Detailed Product Description
Description
CMC LV is a low viscosity sodium carboxymethylcellulose designed to reduce API filtration rate with minimum increase in viscosity in water based drilling fluids.
Application & Features
CMC LV is a cost-effective additive to reduce API filtration rate of many water based drilling fluids ranging from freshwater to saturated saltwater. It helps prevent high, progressive gel. It coats the clay cuttings and reduces the hydration.
CMC LVT refers to low viscosity technical grade CMC. It meets OCMA DFCP-2 specifications. It is mainly used in low solids muds to control fluid loss and to produce a thin, firm filter cake with minimum increase in viscosity.
CMC LVP refers to low viscosity pure grade CMC. It gives more performance with less dosage. It exceeds technical grade PAC LV with optimum balance of water-loss control, rheological control and economy.
