2-Hydroxypropyl Acrylate (HPA) Chemical Formula: CH2=CHCOOCH2CH(OH)CH3 Molecular Weight: 130 Standard Applied: Q/HG041 002-2004 CAS: 25584-83-2 Product Application: with vinyl double bond within the molecule it can copolymerize with other monomers to produce copolymers with hydroxy group in the side chain. And these structures are readily undergo across-linking reaction. It can be used in auto coating formation, and UV-curing system. It can form prepolymers and other active oligomers by reaction with diisocyanates and diexpoxy resins, and the resultants readily undergo polymerization under UV radiation. These products have wide applications in wood-working varnish, printing inks, and other adhesives.
