Super Absorbent Polymer,shorted as SAP,is a new type of macromolecular material developed in recent 20 years,featuring super high water absorbing and keeping capacities. It is considered the fourth generation of agricultural chemicals following chemical fertilizers,pesticides and land films,and has seen many functions in drought fighting,earth improvement,proof salt and proof alkali,soil and water conservation,increase production,etc. It can also be used in other fields,including hygiene and medical material,food anti­staling agent,water absorbing,cosmetics,flood and fire fighting,etc
Under support of the national high-tech R&D program and the "western action" of China Academy of Science,our company has developed a series of new multi-function SAP,by adopting the technology of organic and inorganic cross linking. The product features salt and alkali proofing,low cost and high water absorbing capacity. Due to the introduction of nanometer technology,it is much superior in the physical and chemical characters to the other products of the same kind. The project passed the examination organized by the Science and Technology Department of Shan dong Province in Dec.2004 The appraisal claimed that the comprehensive character is better than organic SAP,and that the process had reached world leading level
It is certificated by Shan dong Disease Control Center that it is a green environmental friendly product with no toxin and harm. The project passed the examination on October 13,2005,and has been listed as the key achievement in our water saving technology

Character and performance
1.Super water absorbing ability: 300-1500 times in pure water,150-300 times in running water,60-100 times in normal saline,35-60 times in 0.1 % CaCl₂,solution
2.High gel strength: the moisture content keeps more than 93% after a centrifugal running at 3,000r/m for 30 min,tests show it can resist a force of 500g/cm²
3.The toxicology and environment safety tests show that it is friendly to the natural environment without any toxin or pollution,easy in degradation.
4.PH value is changeable between 6.0-8.0,so it can keep the land from any salinization 5.11 is stable in fertilizer,mixture with nutrient and salt due to good ability of salt resisting.
6.11 is good in physical character. Under the underground pressure,it keeps the ability of quick water absorbing and inflation. It will not cement in the soil,but improve the porosity of earth through water absorbing and releasing
