Application
This product is a new type of UV absorber, its absorption coefficient is up to 920~990 at 320 nm of UV wave, the ability for absorption of ultraviolet is at least three times as great as common absorbers. The product is nontoxic and nonirritant, mainly used in cosmetic sunscreeners and water paints. It is employed in an amount of 1. 5% to 2% in cosmetic and 4% to 6% in paints.
Dissolve the product in 10 parts of water, adjust to pH 8 with NaOH, then add to paints.
