General purpose polyurethane undercoating

- One component, with solvent, transparent polyurethane undercoating.
- When it reactions with humidity becomes cure.
- When it is applied on surfaces such as concrete or gas concrete, it fills in the pores making them not permeable.
- Tortoise Primer is applied before water isolation coatings and other polyurethane products as an undercoating.
- It gives a perfect adherence to polyurethane products when they are applied on any surface.

Instructions:

For best results, the surface where the Tortoise General Purpose PU Undercoating will be used, must be cleaned by a vacuum cleaner. In case of having a very absorbent surface, Tortoise Undercoating must be applied in a second time 6 hours after the first application. Tortoise Undercoating, when is applied on surfaces like concrete, it fills the pores in, and it reacts with the humidity in the air and in the concrete, becoming cure. For its application, it is recommended to use a brush or a roll. After applying the Undercoating, the surface must be protected from water for 3 or 4 hours.

Specifications:

- Amount required: Depends on the characteristics of the concrete or the surface we will apply it on, and it can be between 0,0150 and 0,300 KG/m2
- Drying time: Depends on the environment temperature, it can be between 3 or 8 hours
- Storage: Maximum temperature:36 degrees Celsius. The Expiration date is 6 years after the Production date.

Precautions:

Gloves and glasses must be used when the product is applied. If there is a contact with skin, it has to be washed generously with soap and water. Keep the product out of the reach from the children. Close the cap tightly after using.
